What are Media Days? Historically, Media Days were an opportunity for local newspapers, television, and magazines to come out and take photos for use throughout the season in their own publications.
In modern times, Social Media Days are a “one and done” social media photoshoot where we get photos to use in your online content for the whole season. I bring the camera, the lights, the backgrounds, the props – and the expertise.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
- A digital flyer to distribute to players and parents explaining Social Media Day Photos before the day of the shoot.
- 100 curated digital photos for team social media use
- Each photo will be provided in several different ratios and sizes
- Individual portraits, coach photos, seasonal themes, buddy shots, etc.
- Exclusive canva.com template bundle created by Trophy Sports Photos
- Instructions to use the templates are included
- All templates can be easily combined with the photos you receive using a free canva.com account
- Commercial use rights to all photos
- A team bonding activity. Social Media Day Photos are a fun experience for everyone.
WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Social Media Day sessions last around 2 hours.
- I supply props, but players are encouraged to bring team appropriate props.
- Players should arrive in full uniform – as if they are playing a game. Players should bring warm up attire, team branded shirts, sweatshirts, gear. Players should bring alternate uniforms, but should all wear the same uniform when arriving.
- Parents and friends are not permitted in Social Media Day sessions. Unfortunately, they become a distraction.
WHY SOCIAL MEDIA DAYS ARE GREAT
- Your competitors are on social media – it is essential that you are on social media, posting at least 3 to 4 times a week.
- You aren’t just getting a photo shoot – you are getting a content bank of photos to use for branding, fan engagement, and season-long visibility for your team or club.
- You are an athletic director, club director, or coach… not a marketing specialist or photographer. Social Media Days allow you to focus on the team and not creating social media.
